The world’s leading male tennis players will contest the prestigious Rolex Paris Masters from 30 October–7 November 2021. The highly anticipated ATP Masters 1000 event provides the last opportunity for players to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin.
Rolex’s relationship with the esteemed indoor tournament started in 2007 when the brand became the Official Timekeeper. A decade later, the Swiss watchmaker cemented its long-term commitment by becoming Title Sponsor. Staged on the banks of the River Seine, the Accor Arena has hosted the event since 1986. The moderate-paced hard courts and distinctive stadium design help generate an electric atmosphere for fans and players alike.
Rolex’s presence at the heart of tennis began more than 40 years ago when it became the Official Timekeeper of The Championships, Wimbledon, the sport’s oldest and most revered tournament. Since then, the brand has fostered enduring bonds with the game, becoming Official Timekeeper of all four Grand Slam® tournaments, as well as creating partnerships with the foremost players and top level tournaments.
Rolex Testimonees have enjoyed great success in the French capital since the relationship with the tournament began. In 2008, Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga delighted the home crowd by lifting the trophy. Three years later, Roger Federer tasted victory on the Seine for the 18th of his 28 career ATP Masters 1000 titles. Most recently, an unseeded Karen Khachanov defied the odds at the 2018 edition to claim his maiden ATP Masters 1000 title. The Russian displayed impressive skill and tenacity, dropping only one set en route to victory.
