Hamburg, June 4, 2024 – Global sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE announces its partnership with Project MJK, the management team of world-renowned football manager Jürgen Klopp. This collaboration marks the merging of forces between SPORTFIVE and Project MJK, a management venture closely associated with Jürgen Klopp.

Under this innovative alliance and on behalf of project MJK, SPORTFIVE is acting as the commercial and marketing representative for the next three years, with an exclusive primary focus on bolstering Jürgen Klopp's global brand presence and cultivating international partnerships and markets, with a special focus on Asia and the USA. Leveraging SPORTFIVE's extensive network and infrastructure, MJK aims to explore new avenues for market expansion.

Regarded as one of the greatest managers in football history, Jürgen Klopp has achieved fantastic success during his career. Most notably, during his tenure as manager of Liverpool FC, where he won eight trophies including the English Premier League (2019/20) UEFA Champions League (2018-19) and FA Cup (2021-22) after arriving at Anfield in 2015.

Klopp also has two Bundesliga titles and one DFB-Pokal in his trophy cabinet from his time as manager of Borussia Dortmund between 2008 and 2015. The German’s accomplishments also extend to being named FIFA Coach of the Year in 2019 and 2020. His commitment to various societal causes, such as addressing racism, promoting equality and advocating for societal issues, has garnered appreciation from fans around the world.

Ahead of his final match as Liverpool manager against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Sunday May 19, project MJK and SPORTFIVE launched a personal Instagram channel [@kloppo] for Klopp. This account is designed to bring Klopp closer to his fans while strengthening his reach all over the world.

Within the first 24 hours of the account launch, @Kloppo had 1.5 million followers and gathered 22.6 million impressions. The launch video for the account also amassed 25.6 millions views. As of June 4, 2024 the account has 3.8 million followers.
