[Infront] Infront Productions to collaborate with FIFA+ on downlink, distribution and commentary services

Seamless delivery and multi-lingual commentary to ensure top-tier FIFA+ coverage worldwide

Zug, Switzerland – Infront Productions has signed an agreement with FIFA+ to provide satellite downlinking, multi-lingual commentary services and SRT distribution for over 300 matches on the platform. The collaboration includes FIFA World Cup 2026™ Qualification matches, age-grade tournaments and global competitions in both Futsal and Beach Soccer, among others. Infront Productions’ experienced team will help ensure seamless global broadcast operations, enhancing the viewing experience for football fans worldwide.

The agreement, which follows a competitive tender process, covers the management of signal ingest via satellite, SRT and bonded cellular technology, commentary in multiple languages including English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish and distribution to both the FIFA+ platform and third-parties. Infront Productions will also oversee production workflows to maintain the highest international broadcast standards. The company’s state-of-the-art facilities in Milan, including its Master Control Room (MCR), will play a central role in delivering reliable and high-quality match feeds.

Infront Productions’ role will include sourcing and managing commentators across all required languages and utilising both cloud-based remote platforms and its in-house facilities to record and integrate live commentary into match feeds. The collaboration will also help optimise FIFA+’s digital streaming capabilities, leveraging Infront’s technical capabilities and production expertise.

The first matches under this new collaboration with FIFA+ took place in March, with the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Qualifiers.

Enabled by its extensive satellite and fibre connectivity, Infront Productions’ Milan facility manages more than 37,000 hours of live coverage per year across over 20 sports, supporting rightsholders and broadcasters across the world’s biggest sporting events. This includes live OB production, world feed enhancement, multi-language commentary services, graphic design and implementation or digital and highlights content creation.
